Course Description:
This course will be offered by Centre for Continuing Education,
constituent of Ganpat University. This course provides students with
an opportunity to enhance knowledge and skills in infection prevention
and control in contemporary healthcare practice. The Course includes
overview about infection prevention and control practices, Hospital Acquired infection,
the chain of infection, standard and transmission-based precautions,
barriers and use of personal protective equipment (PPE),
outbreak/exposure management and strategies for preventing the spread of
infectious disease to healthcare workers and patients.
