A Magnetic Resonance Technologist assists and guides patients through MRI scans. From the
moment they step into the examination room, the patient will be in their hands. MRI
technicians usually work under the guidance of qualified doctors. They follow instructions
provided by the doctor, operate the scanner, record the images and hand over the record to
the doctor (for diagnosis).
